A slurry of corn syrup and water and other ingredients are heated up until it reaches a hot temperature. Immediately, the peanuts are stirred in to make the brittle, and then they are spread out on a sheet and left to dry and harden. Peanut brittle is a great treat for the holidays and makes a wonderful, flavorful health snack. Each rectangular piece of brittle is about 3\” x 1.5\”. There are approximately 13 pieces in a lb.
